Christmas Celebrations with the Hidalgo Brothers and PINS

On 5 December here at Savile Row we threw a party to celebrate Christmas, to celebrate all that we have achieved in 2014 and of course to celelbrate our loyal customers.

Contemporary artists PINS was invited to ‘doodle’ live on silk scarves and every guest went home with their own  bespoke doodled scarf. On display were also 4 antique Singer sewing machines emblazoned with PINS artwork created especially for the night.

Cloadgh Kennedy enchanted us with her violin for 3 hours whilst The Gray’s Inn Banqueting team catered for the event with copious amounts of mulled wine, canapés and Christmas mince pies. Along with clients we were joined by members from the Ecuadorian Embassy and the legendary Lorraine Chase.

Hidalgo Brothers in GQ magazine

If impulse buying in the January sales has left your wardrobe with a few items that don’t quite fit (but the price was too perfect for it not to be in your wardrobe) then we suggest buying the latest issue of GQ and going to p35.

GQ has put together a To-do-list with the help of the Hidalgo Brothers regarding alterations. For more tips check out the latest February issue of GQ or click here for more information on our alteration services.

The Tailors of Ecuador

Marco Hidalgo first developed a passion for tailoring in his early teens while with his family in Ecuador. Having moved to London in the middle of his twenty’s he further honed his craft at Norton and Sons.

Shortly after setting out on his own Marco was joined by his younger brother Ramon who came to London from Ecuador and together the Brothers have worked with some of the best names in the business. Among these clients are brands such as Armani, Selfridges, Jitrois and Zegna.
